Although the 50 second mark does look a LITTLE familiar. 🙂
Doesn’t that seem a little like this ad mockup I made back on June 26th?
As long as I’m helping I’m happy, but if you want to leave a thank you comment I wouldn’t mind.
So which one is it? High gas prices are good and off shore drilling won’t do anything to lower the prices. Or is it the new Obama viewpoint, that offshore drilling will help lower gas prices and that THAT would be a good thing.
Quote from today (Agust 1, 2008) in regards to potentially supporting off shore drilling in order to lower gas prices;
“My interest is in making sure we’ve got the kind of comprehensive energy policy that can bring down gas prices,”
And an interview from early July 20008
So again. Which one is it? Are we really ready for “Change” just to get some more votes?
“It’s embarrassing when Europeans come over here, they all speak English, they speak French, they speak German,” he had said. “And then we go over to Europe and all we can say is ‘merci beaucoup.'”
That’s what Changeman said only a few short weeks ago, in regards to how emberrassing it is to be an American who goes to another language and can’t speak the native language.
Did I miss something during Obama’s world tour? From all of the speeches, interviews, media events, etc. I didn’t once see Obama speak in the native language of the country he was in. When being interviewed in France he responded to questions from French reporters in English. When he gave his massive speech in Germany, yup, he was speaking English.
This is just another sign of Changeman being arrogant and thinking he is God’s gift to the world. If it’s so embarrassing that the “other” American’s go over seas and don’t speak the language then shouldn’t he be embarrassed of himself and his own actions?
I love how the heavy majority of the MSM (Mainstream Media) has been talking about the bill that expands warrantless wire tapping. Most people I have seen talking about it talk about how it is all Bush, and that Bush is commiting all of these felonies by introducing this bill.
But, what is funny, is that at least Bush has been behind this bill from the beginning. Obama, in order to keep the bloggers and the left happy in order to get past Hilary had talked for the past few months about how against this bill he was. Well, once it came time to vote Changeman actually agreed with Bush and thought that this bill should be extended.
So although he and Bush agree on this issue, at least Bush didn’t lie about supporting it. Changeman not only supports it, but he also lied about where he stood on this issue until voting came around.

I love this quote.
“I think that we got carried away in the moment. We were having a birthday party, and everybody was laughing. And suddenly this thing cropped up.”
No, it’s not what it sounds like. It was actually a statement made after Obama decided putting his 10 and 7 year old daughters on “Access Hollywood.” Yes, the very political and serious Access Hollywood was somehow spending Malia Obama‘s 10th birthday party with the family before someone decided, ‘Hey, why don’t we setup an interview? We have the crew in the van, wouldn’t that be fun?”
Now, just one day after the first part of the interview airing Changeman is regreting the decision to use his daughters for his political gain. I don’t believe it personally, I think he wanted to have his cake and eat it too. He wanted to blow up his celebrity, and show him and his family to the non politically interested houswives and 20-something women who watch Access Hollywood.
However, let’s say we do believe what he says, and that he is telling the truth here,
“…And suddenly this thing cropped up. I didn’t catch it quickly enough. I was surprised by the attention it received.”
This is the guy we’re supposed to trust to make quick and good judgments on what to do with our economy, with our public safety, and with anything else that may come up while being the most powerful person in the world
Yup, someone who couldn’t see this coming from a television interview really earns my trust in his decision making.

Listen to this speech from Changeman and try to apply and sense of logic to what he is saying. Let us try this:
- Immigrants from “will learn “
- We need to teach our kids to speak Spanish so that they can communicate with these imigrants.
- It’s embarrassing that travelers from other countries come here and speak English yet when we go to another country we can only say something in French?
Changeman, first off gives no credit to American travelers, but I guess that is what he is running on. Everything that he has been preaching from the Change pulpit says “You can’t do it on your own, let the government help you out.”
Second off, the logic of Spanish speakers learning English, but us teaching our kids Spanish so that they communicate is HORRIBLY flawed. Everyone should be able to speak and communicate through English when in a country whose official language is English.
Third, if I travel, I know that “Merci bucu” will only get me somewhere in France, and it won’t get me anywhere in say Japan. At the same time, why do you think we buy dictionaries or Lonely Planet guides to travel with if we “think” that everyone speaks English
This is just another case of Changeman thinking that American’s are stupid and that he is the only person that can help them. So much for any more personal responsibility, choice, or consequences.
We’re really considering putting someone who uses logic like this into office?
This election has definitely changed since Changeman moved past Clinton. Now Obama is wearing a flag pin, he’s taking private money because he can raise more (yet not saying that) now he’s supporting faith based programs (Really?! Yes), he changed his stance on wire tapping (big no-no in the online world), and the constitutional right to own a gun (hmm, seems to coincide with you know, the Supreme Court ruling). Now the biggest shocker, it sounds like he is about to change his stance on pulling out of Iraq. He has laid the groundwork, now all he has to do is point to change.
Since Changeman has not taken the time to speak with General Petraeus, and has not been paying attention to what is happening in Iraq since the surge began Changeman has always said he would pull our troops out of Iraq as soon as he got into office. Well, now that he knows he needs to land more of the independent voters he has decided it might be time to take a trip to Iraq and that it may just be time to change his stance and keep the troops in Iraq for a little longer. I support finishing what we started in Iraq, but the fact that Changeman can’t make up his mind is just a little unnerving if he does end up in the Oval Office.
Alot of the liberals are seeing all of THESE changes and wondering what they got themselves into. Is Obama just another politician? Yes. Is Obama changing his stance on many things to get the independent and center voters? Yes. I would place a bet on Changeman changing his mind on Iraq by say August 10th.

So in order to improve the theatrics of Changeman’s acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention this year the media team has decided to move the main speech to INVESCO field at Mile High. Yes, it will look good on tv and make some news highlights, but I do have a few questions about this change in plans.
How green will this be? Yes, you can walk or take the lightrail from the Pepsi Center to INVESCO Field, but think about the people that aren’t at the convention. Since the DNC is SO concerned about being green at this years convention, will this event really help save the world, and stop the waters from rising? This will bring a potential extra 50,000 people to Denver in August. How many people will drive there? How many will fly there? How many celebrities will they fly in on their private jets? Also, the lights having to be on for the speech, the moving of extra camera equipment (and the many semi’s that will take).
So, yes this is a CHANGE in the scenario. And yes, this will be a CHANGE from the 19,000 delegates that would have been able to watch this speech live. But, when you’re trying to run a holier greener than though convention, you should really think about all of the other side effects this move will have on our environment that you think is dying so quickly.

I am tired of people believing Changeman will do everything that he says. The amount of things that he says and that people cheer for and faint over is ridiculous. Is Obama the modern day Moses with the oceans?
Yesterday the Supreme Court ruled that it was unconstitutional to sentance a person who rapes a child to the death penalty. The basic reasoning behind this decision was that the death penalty was EXCESSIVE for even the raping of children. To quote Justice Anthony Kennedy “We conclude that, in determining whether the death penalty is excessive, there is a distinction between intentional first-degree murder on the one hand and nonhomicide crimes against individual persons, even including child rape, on the other.”
This decision is just shocking to me. There is not much worse (if there is anything) in my opinion than someone who will commit a crime like this. Changeman has come out to say that he disagrees with the Supreme Courts ruling on this issue, and although I agree with Changeman on this issue, does this statement really line up with how he has acted and voted in the past?
The issue I am wondering about in particular is his stance on accidental birth abortions. If you’re not familiar with what I’m talking about, please look into it (here’s one article). The premise is that if a woman wanted to have an abortion, but it was unsuccessful and the baby is still born, that it is okay to let the baby die because the woman had meant to kill it before it was actually born. Most Pro Choicers have actually stayed far away from anything that has come up in this argument, because the general consensus among even pro-life supporters is that if the baby is fully born and out of the womb, it is a life. Not Changeman though! He has, on multiple occasions, voted that this act should be permissible as the woman had tried to abort the baby before it was born, but whoops, it still came out alive.
So the question I now have for Changeman is this, Why he sees much of a difference here? I don’t think he is a soulless person, and I know he has two daughters, but shouldn’t that play into the fact that once he saw his daughters born he thought that they were alive, and real living human beings?
Am I the only one that sees these two opinions as a big double standard? I hope that after he reads this post he can see this double standard he has and vote against the accidental birth abortions he has supported in the past.
